Covid-19 vaccine registration online in surat is ongoing by the surat SMC. Not to mention the vaccination drive is the Indian government initiative.
So, today in this post I will be helping you how to register for coronavirus vaccination step by step.
Believe me, it gives me immense happiness when am writing covid-19 vaccine registration online. In the year 2020 during lockdown who knew we will have 2 swadeshi vaccines ready for this deadly virus.
We have 2 Indian vaccines and 1 Russian vaccine at our disposal.
- Covaxin vaccine from Bharat Biotech
- Covishield vaccine from Serum Institute India
- Sputnik V vaccine from Russia’s Gamaleya national centre of epidemiology & microbiology.
It’s 2021 and now we all know how fatal the coronavirus is after losing our loved ones. We all have lost someone or the other. But not anymore now.
Let’s be a responsible citizen and help the government flush this deadly coronavirus. From May 1, 2021, the Indian government initiated a vaccination drive for citizens over 18 years.
In simple words, if your age is between 18-45 years then you are eligible for the vaccine. But for that, you need to register yourself online using your mobile number. And that’s what we call Covid-19 vaccine registration online.
Therefore let’s get started with how to do step-by-step registration online.

Step 5 OTP verification
Once you enter the mobile number the system will ask for OTP. Check your mobile text message section and enter the 6 digit OTP here. Click Verify & Proceed button.
Remember, there’s a timer on the page. Refer to the image above. Hence, keep your mobile handy. Don’t start searching your mobile phone after entering the number.
Once the time is over you will have to regenerate the OTP. So, be careful with this.
Step 6 Member registration
After the one-time password (OTP) verification here comes the welcome screen. Click on the Register Member button to start the registration process.
On the welcome page, you will read some notes regarding the online vaccine registration process. Kindly read all the instructions carefully. All these notes are there for a reason. Do as directed.
Step 7 Submit photo ID proof
Fill in your details here. You will need to submit a photo ID proof with a photo ID number. Click on the photo ID proof drop-down menu. A list will populate. Select appropriate ID proof that you have and want to submit.
The following are the valid photo ID proof for vaccine registration online. Take a look:

After submitting photo ID proof fill in your name, gender and year of birth. Click the register button. (For your information I submitted my PAN card details.)
Step 8 User account details
Your account is created now and the system will display all the details. Let me tell you that this is just an account creation process. Still the vaccine registration online is pending.
If you look at the above image there’s a notification in red colour. It says the appointment is not scheduled yet. In other words, you have to schedule an appointment now.
Step 9 Book appointment for vaccination
Search by pin code and search by district. These are the 2 options to schedule an appointment for vaccination. Here I searched by my area pin code 395009. Refer to the below image.
As you can see in the above image 4 May and 5 May appointments are fully booked. The remaining dates are marked as NA. It means the appointment slot is not available.
What you need to do is keep checking here for empty slots. Yes, you will have to check daily for free appointment slots.
You can also check available slots using the search by district option.
Meanwhile, watch the below video on YouTube by the Indian Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
